Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the Subs iPhone app and this website. By using Subs you agree to them, together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which also applies.
What Subs does
Subs helps you keep track of subscriptions, free trials, installment plans and bills that you add, reminds you before payments and helps you decide what to cancel. Subs is not a bank, a payment service or a financial adviser. It does not connect to your accounts and cannot cancel subscriptions or request refunds on your behalf.
Your information is only as accurate as what's entered
Totals, dates and reminders are calculated from the information you add or import. Imported charges and suggested prices are estimates for you to review. Cancel guides, links and refund instructions describe how services usually work and may change without notice. Always check the final amounts and dates with the service provider or your bank.
Ask Subs and AI features
Ask Subs, statement import and the email writer use Apple Intelligence on your device. AI-generated text can be incomplete or wrong. Subs calculates figures such as totals and due dates from your data, but you should review any answer, email or suggested action before relying on it. Actions such as adding or updating a subscription only happen after you confirm them.
Subs Premium subscription
- Some features, including the payment calendar, spending insights and Ask Subs, require a Subs Premium subscription. The available plans, their prices and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If you cancel during a free trial, the trial may end immediately.
- Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or try to access other users' data, interfere with our services or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Trademarks
Service names and logos shown in Subs belong to their respective owners and are used only to help you recognize your subscriptions. Subs is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Disclaimer and liability
Subs is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed reminders, charges you didn't expect, or decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Subs after an update means you accept the new terms.
